I'm so glad you're here. We are better together. Join me for a life shared.
A Life Shared is about three things. Empower. Equip. Encourage. We all want to live well. I offer illustrative vision, practical tools, and space for you to respond. So you can shift out of the daily grind into a life shared.
I offer one-on-one coaching, a weekly podcast, formative workshops, engaging speaking and preaching, and a practical book. We'll laugh together, maybe cry to together, and then you'll be released to live a life shared.
I provide safe space for the good work you want to do for your life. Parenting, life transitions, long-term dreams, and personal development are my specialties.
Coaching fees are on a sliding scale:
"Ellen is intentional with her coaching and guidance. She leads with wisdom, grace, and truth. If you are in need of coaching or help with direction, give her a call!"
T.L.
"Ellen’s coaching has changed our parenting forever. We approach hard things differently and, in my opinion, better. We do not panic. We use the tools she gave us and we truly grew and got better. I cannot recommend Ellen enough. Whether it’s one session or ten, and whether you need coaching in parenting, discernment, or just being a person."
L. & J. W.
“Ellen helped me discover my goal and gave me tangible things to do to keep me focused on achieving success. Sessions with her are well worth your time and a great investment!”
K.W.
"I had mad anxieties about homeschooling my son. Ellen listened and heard my obstacles. She helped me do what I had always wanted to do as a mom. Do yourself a favor: book a session or two with Ellen!"
L.S.
“We recommend Ellen to anyone looking for an honest, objective examination of their everyday lives. She helped us develop enduring strategies for parenting and time management. We enjoy more and better time with the kids, each other, and have even built in time for ourselves. We are better parents and people for it.”
M.S. and A.M.
Teaching, fresh perspective, and practical tools to help you talk with your kids, celebrate the things about your spouse that drive you crazy, and nurture your relationship with Jesus.
"Wow! Ellen led 'The Talk' at our church. She leads with authenticity, directness, and humor. The feedback from our parents: they want more!"
Kirsten M., Children's Pastor
EUM Church
"Ellen has presented two parenting workshops within our diocese. Her practical presentations are marked by humor, empathy, and honesty, with the kind of perspective that simultaneously rings true and enlightens. On top of that, she is well-organized and flexible--a great combination! She has my highest endorsement."
Mike Allen, Director of Family Life Ministries, Roman Catholic Diocese of Lexington, KY
"Ellen spoke with our teens and parents, separately about common communication struggles. She asked probing questions and offered practical tools to empower both groups to improve their communication skills and develop healthier relationships. Ellen did an excellent job!"
Kyle Bixler, Youth Pastor,
GCF Vineyard
"As our son is getting older, I've known we would need to talk more with him about sex. That made me nervous. This workshop gave me some perspectives and resources. Ellen helped me feel empowered. Thank you!"
G.W.
"'The Talk: Embrace the Sacred Gift' was so helpful for me. Ellen made the topic more of a daily opportunity than an intimidating, uneasy conversation. I want my kids to have a healthy perspective on sex, not warped by our culture or shamed by church teaching. Thank you for making 'the talk' more approachable for me."
A.S.
"Ellen spoke to people in all places in parenting. Informative, eye-opening, encouraging!"
S.B.
"Ellen is gifted when it comes to compassionately equipping families and individuals with truth, which may be hard to swallow at first, but will heal and spur them on to more than they ever thought they could be. I have attended workshops and talks where we once felt uncomfortable discussing the most difficult topics to laughing and connecting with our truest selves. Best of all, Ellen undergirds everything with love."
B.M.
"Our parents loved listening to Ellen's stories, practical skills, and insights for hard conversations with their children. Ellen has a knack for coaching parents to discover new ways to share life with their kids. When parents quit “telling” their kids about stuff and begin “sharing life,” meaningful conversations can emerge in the hard places of life. I can’t recommend Ellen Martin enough for parents and folks who want to grow relationally and emotionally!"
Rector Martin Gornik,
Apostles Anglican Church
"Ever since teaching her first workshop several years ago, I have invited Ellen to teach at various times and to speak at our weekend worship gatherings. When speaking, Ellen brings her passion for people flourishing together with her love for Jesus in a way that is not just helpful, but transformative."
Jason Duncan, Lead Pastor,
GCF Vineyard
"Ellen Martin is a skilled and effective communicator to all audiences. She combines years of experience with practical and effective communication tools that in turn provide hope to families and individuals."
B.M.
"Finding a speaker to keep interest and motivate your staff can be a challenge. She grasped everyone's attention - you could've heard a pin drop! Ellen did her homework and actually related to what our staff does and how they make a difference in the lives of students. I was beyond impressed!"
Lee Ann Conner, SNS, Jessamine County Schools Food Service Director
"Ellen is delightful to listen to!"
